SeismoStruct 2016 is a nonlinear finite element program developed by SeismoSoft for the seismic analysis and assessment of structures. It simulates the large-displacement behavior of 2D and 3D structural systems by incorporating both material and geometric nonlinearities. Using fiber-section beam–column elements and well-established constitutive models for reinforced concrete, steel, and other common structural materials, the software captures cyclic strength and stiffness degradation as well as P-Delta effects.
The program supports nonlinear static (pushover) and nonlinear dynamic (time-history) analyses, enabling performance-based evaluation and retrofit studies. A user-friendly graphical interface streamlines model building, while integrated post-processing tools deliver deformed shapes, response histories, capacity curves, and detailed force–deformation outputs—making it suitable for both professional practice and research.
